Today we created wanted posters for Cyber – Smart! The wanted posters could be about anything. People, Garage sale, Pets, Jobs, Protests Events, Fundraising and many more. I made a wanted poster about a good and funny friend wanted for his funny charisma. His first name is Pootin and second name is Donald Grump.
For Cyber – Smart Team Tui learnt about quality blog posts. What we did was we went into our blogs to try find a “quality” blog post and take a screen shot. We took a screen shot because we need a picture of a blog post to put inside our cyber – smart /slides. This task was fun and interesting! Maybe you can try it out!
For this week Cyber – Smart Team – Tui learned to properly use google meet . Here is some examples.

First we matched certain words that connect with their Icon for example : “Mute Mic” – > [Mute button Icon]
Than we listed three things that a group of people in a Google – Meet were doing correct . – : Camera on , Mic – Muted & No other people in the background.
After that we decided which background was the best for a Google – Meet and which was the worst . (Presentation in slide 4)
Next was a image of us in a google meet block acting as if we were actually there.
Lance & Pasimati’s : Working Collaboratively in a Doc.
for this week’s Cybersmart Me and Pasimati (A Person From My Class) worked collaboratively on a doc. We created a doc and we used it to play Knots”s & Crosses. Than after that we created a story by writing one word per turn.
For Team – Tui Cybersmart we were introduced to “Sumo – Paint – X.” A digital art site that allows you to draw! We used Sumo Paint – X to draw and simulate a story. This story was about a person seeing a floating ship that made that person levitate . My idea of this story and the way I in – visioned it was that it was an alien space craft that abducts people.
Today the class (Room Six) and Mr. Goodwin practised to not be “Caught” plagiarising or copyrighting (Though you shouldn’t even try at all.) We used this slide created by Mr. Goodwin to put information from websites while adding the link to prove our statements.
Today our cyber smart teacher called Mr. Goodwin. He taught us about “Empowerment” which currently Mr. Goodwin used the term to define actually having more power than negative comments or anything sent to us that makes us uncomfortable. We had complected this slide which shows what we can do online. We had to use tics to tic it off. We also wrote who we could trust to confront to anything negative we didn’t like.
If someone ever those anything negative online make sure to show it to a trusted adult so they can take care of it.
