Phone’s Banned in School Law

Recently a new law has been enforced upon New Zealand schools. The Government has now created a law where Phones are banned with the exemptions of, such as people with special needs / required or necessary for health, teachers, learning support and special circumstances. This law was applied to decrease distraction levels during class, improve concentration, and prevent misuse of phone use during school and more.  (Eg: Such as cheating during tests, for inappropriate uses ect,) I personally agree with this law as it helps prevent distractions and  helps children / students focus

Library : Reading

This week Room 6 went to visit the Library. We had lots of fun reading, relaxing and playing games like checkers! I mainly played checkers. I learned some interesting facts and rules on how to play. For example, I learned that you can stack the checker pieces to make a checker piece that can go both forward and diagonally. I played and won all my matches.
